"I think this is it!" Black Star announced, staring into the depths of the underground caves of Dark Storm's ranch. "This is where they say the legendary Pokemon lives!" Kid walked up behind him, a lot more collected than his exploration partner. He had a sack filled with various items hanging around his neck.

"So, all we need to do is make it to the end of this cave..." Kid said to himself before slowly walking up to the cave's entrance. He stopped dead in his tracks before going through the entrance, cringing. "I don't think I can do this, Black Star."

"Why not?" Black Star asked, running up to him and looking in. "What's wrong? I don't see anything."

"Look down," Kid instructed, which Black Star obeyed. "There's water."

"Um, yeah," Black Star said. "What's your point?"

"I can't go in there. My hooves will get wet," Kid explained. "Such a difficult trap..."

"Dude, it's water," Black Star said, rolling his eyes. "Look, I don't care if you come or not, but if you don't, you're not joining the team." He continued forward as Kid stood there, staring distastefully at the water as if he was a grass type being asked to go through toxic sludge.

"That's easy for you to say, you ARE a water type..." Kid mumbled.

"You're not weak to it or anything. Stop whining," Black Star said.

"Carry me." Kid's words were less of a request and more of a command.

"Excuse me?" Black Star asked. "You're almost twice my weight!"

"And you're always saying how strong you are," Kid said. "So carry me. Help me past this trap. I'll help you with it as well." As he finished his sentence, he used his psychic powers to lift an umbrella out of his bag.

"Why did you even bring that?!" Black Star asked.

"For situations just like this," Kid explained. "Now, come on. The legendary Pokemon awaits!" His serious demeanor melted away as he said this.

Black Star groaned. "You're USELESS, Kid..."
