You find yourself stranded in the Mystic Ruins. The last train left half an hour ago, and the pouring rain and gusts of wind freeze you to the bone. You can barely see where you're going, but up ahead you can make out some sort of structure, with light spilling from the windows. You run towards it and realize that you've stumbled across a small oddly-shaped workshop, surrounded by miniature turbines. The corrugated metal door bears a symbol of two large curved fox tails. You don't care, you just want a break from the awful weather. You bang on the door, and a few moments later, a young fox opens it, staring up at you.

"Hey there." He smiles, stepping back to let you in. "Got caught in the downpour, huh? That's okay, you can stay here until it stops."

You step inside, and look around. The first thing that you notice is that your host has two tails. It's pretty hard to miss. You raise a brow and look around some more. The next thing you see is that the little workshop is filled with computers and half-finished machines... and eggs, some hatched, some still incubating. The fox, who tells you that his name is Tails (go figure), sees you looking and nods.

"I thought they were Chao eggs. But they're not. They seem to have been abandoned, though, so I'm trying to hatch them and raise them myself. It's a lot of work though.

Hey, since you're here, do you think maybe you could help? Just hold the eggs and feed berries to the ones that have hatched. Thank you so much!"
