October 15th, 2000~

As you walk across the field, you notice a young girl around the age of eight sitting under the shade of a tree, her head bent down over her Game Boy Color, deeply engrossed in whatever she was playing. The dark skinned girl didn't noticed you as you approached her, her dark brown bangs covering her face from view as she laughed slightly. "Hahaha, I finally caught ya!"

Beside her was a Growlithe, snuggled by her right side, snoring softly. A Charmander and a Cyndaquil had somehow gotten in the tree and were play fighting on one of the overhead branches. A Flaaffy had occupied herself with tire swing on an over-sized branch. And small Pikachu nestled himself on top of the young girl's head, watching in her play the device.

The girl suddenly looks up at you, and smiles brightly at her visitor. "Hi! I'm Purple!" She grins from underneath the shade. "I'd appreciate it if ya clicked my eggs and pokemon!"

You look at the device in her hands and she grins again. "Oh this? This is Crystal version! See? Lookit! I get to play as a girl!"

The girl starts playing the game again, biting her lip as the screen went blank. "Shoot." She mumbles. "I'm out of batteries..."

I'm soooo pumped for SoulSilver, yo. XD

Screw it, I'll just click your entire party. (glares) But I'm NOT gonna like it.

An older version of the young Purple you see before you, pops up beside you, her arm propped up on your shoulder, the same childish grin on her face. "You see," the seventeen year old smiled, staring at her younger counterpart, "Those were the good old days."
