As you're walking in the forest, you stumble upon a small cave. In it is a shadowy figure. The figure becomes frightened and flies out of the cave, knocking you over as it leaves. A lucario walks up to you and picks you up.
Using telepathy, he says,

"That was Lugia. He is the owner of this cave and I am the guardian. Together we look after these abandoned eggs and pokemon. While you're here, help us look after them."
