Shadow had no idea what to do with Notre. She didn't even know what the egg was when she picked it up, and was quite pleasently suprised to see this pokemon pop out of it. However, the laid-back, gentle personality that came with it makes Notre practically useless in combat. However, it didn't take long for Shadow to discover that her misfit had great mental power, and now uses "him" as an advisor of sorts. "He" instinctually knows much about pokemon; what teams will work well together, who will breed well, what moves to teach those in training... He has great potential, and Shadow knows it.
