Jem is an extremely rare crystal Onix whom Firechick managed to search out and catch on her own behalf. Jem isn't exactly the most intimidating Onix, but Firechick finds this good. Jem, strangely, has the mindset of a child: naive, innocent, optimistic, and a bit of a klutz. Many pokemon are scared of him because he's big, which makes him sad because he's very sweet. Thankfully, he is willing to help anyone in trouble no matter how big or small. Jem likes Firechick a lot and hopes to become strong for everyone in her team. He really loves small pokemon and allows the young ones to play on him.
