Hanako was one of Seth's very first Pokemon that he caught. Naturally, her swiftness, loyalty, and strength made her a permanent member of Seth's team - not to mention the guts she has that makes her will become stronger the more damage she takes.

While she is mature about most situations and prides her flying skills over all else, she can sometimes become too provoked or reduced to desperation by her enemy and attack blindly. Seth hates it when this happens, mainly because she usually ceases listening to her. It takes some effort to make her snap back into focus again.
