Name Origin: 'Ra' is the name of an ancient Egyptian Sun God.
Ra holds a spot in Sapphire's heart. This Ho-oh hatched on his trainer's birthday, and because of that she cherishes Ra.
Sadly, the Ho-oh is depressed. Why? Well, originally he was suppose to be Sapphire's mascot. But once the female trainer found the egg containing her absolute favorite Pokemon, Ra was quickly forgotten (so he thinks). Sapphire made a silent vow to bring the Ho-oh back to her party... sometime in the future.
