She is extremely kind and gentle, but becomes a fury when enraged (in a way,this is just like Irene). Manakel holds a grudge against the villains who destroyed the shore she lived on with her family, and is more than happy to join Irene's team to get revenge. After the Aqua/Magma event is over, she decides to stay with Irene with whom she has developed a strong bond of friendship.
