Leeki had a bad habit of hitting the other Pokemon to try and be the top duck in the flock. However, when Poly came along Leeki discovered that no matter how many times he hit the Spheal she would only think Leeki was playing with her and wanted her to roll around from the impact. Leeki never really got friendly enough to socialize with the others, but he only hits Poly now and enjoys watching her clap and roll happily in response. He also protects Poly from anyone who would want to hurt her and is Leeki's only friend.
