Blue's faithful partner. A Shiny Umbreon, Blakki is special in the fact that he is mentally linked to Blue. They can hear each others thoughts, feel each others emotions and even feel each other's pain. As a result of this link Blakki can actually speak plain English and read just as well as any human can. Blue's family has a tradition in which a Pokemon is hatched when the first child of that generation is born. So Blakki and Blue have been together their entire lives.

His name is a corruption of Umbreon's Japanese name, Burakki. There is no other meaning for his name beyond that.
